MacAskill defends plan to overturn ancient legal principle
THE need for corroborating
evidence in Scots criminal cases is "an outdated technical
requirement," Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill has said, as he
responded to fresh backing for his plan to abolish the ancient legal
principle.
