The Idaho House last week passed a resolution calling for the impeachment of federal judges who rule in favor of same-sex marriage. The bill, which follows a number of court rulings legalizing marriage equality in Idaho and elsewhere, now heads to the Senate. Democratic state Rep. John McCrostie, who is the only openly LGBT lawmaker in Idaho, indicated that the measure would have little effect other than to provide campaign fodder for certain lawmakers. KUOW-FM (Seattle)
