The Orange County Sheriff's Department announced Wednesday that one of
its deputies has misplaced his AR-15 rifle while on-duty. He allegedly
set the rifle on the trunk of his vehicle and drove away. The department
has employed reserve deputies and bloodhounds to help find the gun, and
has asked the public for tips on locating the weapon.
