Maine Gov.: Bring Back the Guillotine

Maine Gov. Paul LePage said in a radio interview Tuesday that he’s got a hankering for the public execution of drug traffickers via the guillotine. LePage said he takes issue with mere prison sentences, arguing that they aren’t enough. “What we ought to do is bring the guillotine back,” he said. LePage added that he doesn’t understand why anyone would take issue with his proposal.
