‘America The Next Generation’ Says An Obama Lynching Would Kick Off A New National Holiday

by John Prager
Recently, a right wing Facebook page called "America the next Generation," in an effort to join the growing crowd of Teapublican "cool kids" who threaten the President because they believe in the laws set forth by our founders. Like Everest Wilhelmsen, the leader of the Christian American Patriots Militia, Hank the Handyman, and others we have covered threatening the President the admin of this page feels that we'd be much better off if Obama was dead.
America the next Generation is no stranger to posting inflammatory, racist, and horrible memes directed at President Obama, but many (including their own fans) feel that a recent post depicting President Obama's lynching and saying that it would be great way to create a new national holiday went just a little bit too far.

After the initial posting, many conservatives spoke up in favor of the idea that the President needs to die, while many liberals and even conservatives expressed discontent with the photo. After facing a large amount of backlash from the left, and some from the right, the post was removed with a clarification that it was taken down out of respect for the page's supporters who did not feel that killing the legally elected President of the United States was an appropriate way to handle a dislike of the man.
Conservatives have been threatening the President through Facebook and other social media at an alarmingly increasing rate. In fact, investigating these threats against the President's life has become a full-time job for the Secret Service. Unfortunately, as long as the President is not white and Republican, we will probably only see an increase in these reprehensible misrepresentations of "free speech."
