Three soldiers serving in secret IDF
Military Intelligence Directorate units were arrested yesterday after
being suspected of committing computer crimes. The special investigation
has been conducted for a while now by the IDF Criminal Investigation
Division, which has led to the recent arrests, as was first discovered
by Channel 2 News.
The soldiers were taken to discussions concerning their arrests yesterday, and today they were taken to further discussions in the duty court-martial in Tzrifin. The IDF Criminal Investigation Division is investigating, among other things, whether the soldiers took out information outside military perimeters.
"This affair appears to be very serious, however it will be investigated more deeply, and further arrests will be made", a source involved in the investigation said. The soldiers serve in highly classified units. Some of them are represented by the military defense attorney.
