Victory Fund announces "10 Races to Watch"
The Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund has released a list of 10 key races featuring openly gay and lesbian candidates who will stand for election on Nov. 8. Among the endorsed candidates on the list are Bevan Dufty, who's running to become mayor of San Francisco. "In each case a victory would mean a real step forward for a local LGBT community, and some of these will be very competitive up until Election Day," said Shawn Werner, Victory's director of campaign services.
