12 Assyrians Who Were Held By ISIS Released

Twelve Assyrians "expelled" from Bartella, Iraq by ISIS.(AINA) -- ISIS has released 12 Assyrians from the town of Bartella, according to a story by
ankawa.com,
an Assyrian website. 11 Assyrians were from Bartella, an Assyrian town
east of Mosul, and 1 from Sinjar. The Assyrians had remained in Bartella
after everyone else had fled when ISIS captured the town. After they
refused to convert, they were held prisoners in one house for nearly one
month. ISIS finally released them, "expelling" them from the "Islamic
State."
Eleven of the Assyrians were brought Kirkuk where they were met by Father Qais. Ms. Samia Yusuf Iskandar was brought to Arbel.
