Loss of faith in the system: A quarter of Americans support state secession

A Reuters poll conducted from Aug. 23 through Sept. 16 found that a quarter of Americas support the idea of their state seceding from the 50 state union.
The poll found that those who consider themselves as Republican and people residing in the west make up a large percentage of the secession support.
Those who support the idea cited dissatisfaction with the Presidents handling of health care and foreign policy, according to Reuters.
This statistic is just another link in the overwhelming evidence that Americans are losing faith in the political system that the US is currently under.
Congress is currently sitting at a 14% approval rating.
Obama’s job approval rating is at a dismal 38%.
Trust in the mainstream, establishment defending media is at a all time low while polls continue to show disapproval for the Obama Administrations meddeling in foreign affairs.
