Colorado pot lawsuit twist: Governor, other state officials out as defendants

A federal judge has removed Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and other state and Pueblo County officials as defendants in a high-profile racketeering lawsuit that is attempting to stop legal marijuana in Colorado. However, Safe Streets Alliance, the anti-drug group that filed the lawsuit on behalf of two Pueblo County horse ranchers, will press the case that centers around construction of a cannabis cultivation facility.
