Planned Parenthood Sues Video Makers

Planned Parenthood sued the makers of a series of smear videos for racketeering in federal court on Thursday. The women’s health and abortion provider is suing pro-life activist David Daleiden and his organization, the Center for Medical Progress, over a “complex criminal enterprise conceived and executed by anti-abortion extremists.” The videos were first released in July of this year and were secretly recorded by anti-abortion activists attempting to frame the group for selling fetal tissue. Planned Parenthood has denied the claims for months, but it did apologize for the way some doctors talked about tissue.
