Rare WW1 conscientious objector records found in Staffordshire

Thousands of rare military appeal tribunal documents have been found in Staffordshire.
They were uncovered in the attic of an old council building and will now be made public.
Arthur Phipps was one of those who fought conscription during World War One. His great-grandson Chris Jones was allowed to read his story in the archive.
