Memphis airport TSA agents pinned an 18-year-old St. Jude cancer patient
to the ground in a violent June confrontation, new video shows. Hannah
Cohen was traveling home from St. Jude's hospital in Memphis, where she
was undergoing treatment for brain cancer. In a July lawsuit, her family
accused TSA agents of using unreasonable force and failing to provide
adequate facilities for Cohen, whom they say is partially deaf,
partially blind, motion-impaired, and easily confused in unfamiliar
settings. The new footage, obtained from TSA surveillance cameras, shows
Cohen speaking with TSA agents, apparently in disagreement. One agent
attempts to take her arm, and she hits back, after which the agent
pushes her to the ground where she struggles before being handcuffed. |
