Seven US states have official state dinosaurs

Seven US states have official state dinosaurs.
Each state in the US has a list of official symbols representative of that
state’s identity, and there are seven that even have official state
dinosaurs: Colorado, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Texas and
Wyoming. Most states' official dinosaurs were chosen because of fossils
that were discovered in those states. The stegosaurus is Colorado’s
official dinosaur, Maryland’s is the herbivore astrodon, and Missouri
claims the Hypsibema missouriensis. The duck-billed hadrosaurus is New
Jersey’s dinosaur, and Oklahoma chose the acrocanthosaurus. Texas’s
Paluxysaurus jonesi state dinosaur is thought to be the tallest known, and
Wyoming’s triceratops was selected by elementary school children as part
of a contest.

COMMENT:

Considering the fact that a state like for instance Texas is conservative (to the core almost) it is really, really very very strange that this state has a dinosaur as "listed symbol representing the identity" of the state isn't it?

Very conservative, deeply religious and thus sort of automatically very anti-evolutionary and pro-creationism in attitude it is odd that this state is honoring the evolution, and creatures that lived so many millions years ago, very much before the supposed creation of earth by god... Adam and Eve, and their two sons Kain and Abel....

How is it possible that a bunch of religious conservative zealots are accepting, honoring and treasuring the fact of creatures that are obviously (according to the religious zealots at least) are not created by their own creator (ie. god)?

Might it be that they are in fact too moronic to see the contradiction in what they are doing?
Or is it that they deep down know they are really knowing they are idiots, and living their own fantasy?
Living their own fantasy with all consequences for all other people, who do not follow the path of creationism? Making it hell for these people to live a normal life? Might it be that these zealots feel that what is making their state interesting is good for their goal, being cutting out people from happiness, excluding people from a normal social existence?

All I say is exclude the ones who are living their fantasy in the open, forcing other people who don't follow their fantasy to suffer from discrimination, and force these zealots to live their fantasy behind the closed doors of their own home, curtains closed, hopping around like the monkeys, screaming like the insane in the mental hospitals, howl like the wold wolves that should circle them, and leave them alone............

All I'm saying.......
