Kerry: U.N. will enforce deal to rid Syria of chemical weapons

Secretary of State John F. Kerry insisted on Monday that a deal to rid Syria of chemical weapons will be enforced by the United Nations.

The United States, Britain and France agree that “we will not tolerate avoidance or anything less than full compliance,” Kerry said.

COMMENT:

Even the suggestion that any other organization then the United Nations would enforce a weapons deal is absurd!
The though that for instance the United States of America, unilaterally, would be the one enforcing the deal is something that would make someone with knowledge and brains  laugh.
Why?
Well, really simple..... The USA is the one country (apart from Israel but as usual, that country is irrelevant...) that a. hungers to uphold agreements that they themselves breach, to distract attention from their own stockpiling of chemical weapons, and the development of such, b. the USA economy and then especially the weapon industry could do with a boost in weapon sales to the military, c. the USA is arrogant enough to claim priority in who is the one enforcing any agreement and or deal between nations, because the USA regards itself as policeman of the world, unreal assumption of course, but a fact.
And finally d. the USA hates it when an initiative is stolen, highjacked or even taken from them... And as we have seen happening, Russia took over the initiative after Kerry goofed up at the press conference.... answering a question from a reporter, of all reporters in the room it was an American reporter at that.
Kerry goofed, never expecting that what he said in reaction off hand to be taken seriously, by anyone!
He nor Obama nor anyone else expected Syria to accept the proposal the moment it was made by Lavrov, the Secretary of State of Russia, and neither did the White House expect that China would accept the proposal!
It suddenly turned out that the United Nations Security Council was agreed on something that could solve the Red Line Crossing statement by Obama, months earlier.....

It would thus be not only absurd when America would be the one enforcing the deal, it must be the United Nations enforcing the deal, with full UN-force protection of the UN-inspectors, and preferably no US-, Russian- or Chinese-soldiers in that force!
Preferably would be to have European countries having soldiers in that UN-force, to prevent any problems when the UN-inspectors are entering Syria!

My opinion!
