Speaking in public for the first time in 20 years, Peter
McKelvie (left) - the former child protection officer who first raised
the alarm about high profile individuals engaged in child sex abuse -
said alleged abusers include senior politicians, military figures and
even people linked to the Royal Family. His comments come as Home
Secretary Theresa May (right) announced there would be two public
inquiries into how historical allegations of child abuse were dealt
with, amid claims the Home Office lost or destroyed an 'explosive'
paedophile dossier compiled during the tenure of Lord Brittan (inset).
