Israeli Security Cabinet declares: Terrorist bodies won’t be returned
For the first time in two and a half years, a discussion was held in the Israeli Security Cabinet today on Israeli citizens and victims’ bodies being held by Hamas in Gaza. The cabinet decided unanimously on a plan of action on the issue and agreed to a new policy: the bodies of Hamas terrorists won’t be returned.

Oren Shaul and Hadar Goldin as well as the fate of other Israeli
citizens being held by Hamas.The Israeli Security Cabinet ruled unanimously on the issue and declared a fixed policy for the treatment of the bodies of Hamas terrorists who were eliminated while waging terror attacks. According to the decision, the terrorist bodies are not to be returned to their families but simply buried.
In recent weeks, progress has been registered in the Israeli Committee on Missing Persons, which held several meetings with the Goldin and Shaul families. The ministers reported on the progress to the families.
