The most common birthday in the United States is 5 October, research shows.
It is estimated that more than 12,500 babies are born each year on that day
and that more than 960,000 people in the US celebrate their birthdays on 5
October. By comparison, most days have about 750,000 Americans celebrating
their birthdays. It is thought that perhaps the reason 5 October is the
most common birthday in the US is because the date of conception could have
been New Year’s Eve, when people are likely to be celebrating.
