Five Ways Satan Worked in America in 2013 (According to Religious Right)
2013
was a busy year for Satan in America. While according to right-wing
pundits much of the time was spent promoting gay marriage and equality
across the nation, multi-tasking Satan had enough time left over to
convert Miley Cyrus to Satanism and make certain the country would be
fooled into bringing in
non-Christian immigrants who would put in place the End Times.
Here are five ways disturbing ways that, according to the Religious Right, Satan worked behind the scenes in America in 2013.
Brought Refugees to America to Impose Demonic, Sharia Law
Cathie Adams,
the former head of the
Texas Republican Party and current president of the Texas Eagle Forum,
told End Times talk radio host Rick Wiles earlier in the year that Satan
was orchestrating the end times in America through the immigration
reform laws which would lead to biometric monitoring and an influx of
non-Christian immigrants.
She warned that
if these immigrants from Muslim nations would be allowed to come to the
United States, the nation would soon realize they were “people who are
not here with the best intentions for America,” and would ultimately
usher in sharia law and the End Times under Satan’s command.
Let Gays Join the Boy Scouts
In
January 2013, the Boy Scouts reversed a long-standing policy allowing
gay members, but not leaders, to join their ranks. The move caused
immediately backlash among hardcore conservatives, including Matt Barber of the Liberty Council, who insisted in a blog that the move was the work of the so-called ‘Prince of the Earth’ aka Satan.
“The
Prince of the Earth seeks to corrupt and ultimately destroy all that is
righteous, honorable and good,” he said. ”It’s little wonder, then,
that for years the Boy Scouts have faced
a malicious and unrelenting assault at the hands of those ‘who call
evil good and good evil.’”
Got Phil Robertson Suspended from Duck Dynasty
After
the suspension of Phil Robertson from Duck Dynasty, right-wing
commentators ran to the celebrity’s aid, calling his anti-gay speech
protected and an expression of his Christian beliefs. During a Dec. 20 broadcast, Bryan Fischer explained that
the Robertson controversy actually the work of Satan who is waging war
with humanity through the issue of gay rights. The solution, he
explained, was to talk more openly anti-gay topics and to join Robertson
and his fight against Satan.
“What we need is about a hundred and fifty million Phil Robertsons out there,” Fischer concluded.
Worked on Plan to Outlaw Christianity and Murder Christians
In a post published by Renew America,
Gina Miller also linked gay rights to Satan. As a result of this
‘homosexual agenda’ she warned, Christianity would soon be outlawed.
“As
Christians, we have read the end-times prophecies, and we know the
warnings Jesus gave us about how awful things will become in the last
days. Satan is working feverishly to fully cement his terrible, earthly
rule and bring those hellish days to fruition,” she said.
“The
Godless communists (or fascists, if you prefer) are using the
homosexual agenda to work toward eradicating Christian opposition to
their plans, which are Satan’s plans. If you know your Bible, then you
know that Christianity is destined to be outlawed.”
She
concluded that the persecution would not stop with the law. “Christians
here in America will be in danger of state-sanctioned murder for their
beliefs,” Miller stressed, emphasizing that those that side with gay
rights were to blame for opening the door to Satan’s demonic influence.
Used Pop Star Miley Cyrus to Demonstrate Demonic Sex Rites
According to right-wing radio host Rick Wiles,
Miley Cyrus made a pact with the devil in 2013. “Any wonder who she
serves as her soul’s master?” he asked, pointing out that her actions
show she is the “poster child” for the “synagogue for Satan.”
Reflecting
on her provocative VMA performance, he claimed the true reason behind
Cyrus’ action was that she was imitating the Hindu goddess Kali’s sex
moves in order to pervert a new generation of unsuspecting teens.
“She’s
basically, at least
symbolically, showing how to have sex with some Satanic figure,” Wiles
concluded about her controversial performance that many, other than
Wiles, admitted was influenced by something other than good taste.
