Man accused of writing racial slur on receipt given to black US waitress sues her and the restaurant after handwriting experts reveal he DIDN'T write the insult
Devin Barnes (pictured), 21, claims he never wrote the racial
slur on the receipt, and that the negative attention he received as a
result of the way Toni Christina Jenkins - the waitress who claims to
have received the slur - publicized the incident is slanderous. Barnes
claims he has received threats from across the globe after Jenkins
posted the photo on Facebook and Youtube, and is now suing both Jenkins
and the restaurant chain for $1 million.
