Real life Sylvester and Tweety Pie! Baby blackbird squares up to Britain's worst bird-catching cat (and flies away unruffled)

The hatchling escaped without even ruffling its feathers after the cat, named Ruggles, made numerous attempts to catch him in photographer Geoff Robinson's back garden in Cambridge. When Ruggles went to pounce on the bird, it astonishingly squared up to the feline, and in a scene reminiscent of Loony Tunes' famous Sylvester and Tweety Pie sequences, cleverly side stepped the would-be attacker.
