Bowser announced on live television Wednesday that marijuana possession will become legal in the District at 12:01 a.m. Thursday. “We believe that we’re acting lawfully,” Bowser said, offering a direct retort to House Republicans who late Tuesday urged the mayor to reconsider moving forward with legalization. |
