L.A. Police Commission questions how LAPD found no biased policing by officers in 3 years

The president of the Los Angeles Police Commission called Tuesday for a thorough review of how the LAPD investigates allegations of biased policing after a watchdog report found the department did not uphold a single complaint against officers in recent years.
Matt Johnson said he wanted a "deep-dive briefing" from the LAPD, citing the report's findings that the department completed investigations into 1,356 complaints of biased policing from 2012 to 2014. "We need to take a look at it," he said.
