As this timely map by the Washington Post indicates, only a tiny,
minuscule, and negligible fraction of mass shootings last year were
committed by Muslims:
In fact, only 3 out of hundreds of mass shootings in 2015 were
committed by a Muslim suspect. Most were — you guessed it — committed by
Christian males.
So why is the far right freaking out? Because they are pushing a
xenophobic, Islamophobic, and bigoted agenda that seeks to create mass
hysteria in order to justify enriching the military-industrial complex
with massive government contracts.
We must not let them get away with it. Make sure that all of your friends see this important and fact-filled map.
