UN launches global campaign to build support for LGBT rights
The
United Nations human rights office on Friday launched a worldwide
campaign aimed at growing support for LGBT equality. Called "Free &
Equal," the effort seeks to change public opinion about the issue,
particularly in the 76 countries that still criminalize homosexual
activity.
