Insane Tea Party Cop Suspended Indefinitely!

If Mark Kessler’s intent was to become Internet-famous as one of the most glaring examples of what happens when paranoia about government conspiracies to take our guns away take root, he’s succeeded admirably. As of yesterday, the violent, menacing former police chief of Gilberton, PA who started a social media firestorm when he started posting YouTube videos of him with borough-owned firearms making thinly veiled threats against “libtards” both local to Gilberton and nationally, going so far in one video to set up a scary clown target and call it Nancy Pelosi before unloading his firearm into it.

When news started spreading about Kessler’s idiocies, Gilberton’s underwriters told the borough council they could no longer fund the town, that was probably the straw that broke the camel’s back. Kessler was first put on a thirty-day suspension from duty, and now as of last night, he has been suspended indefinitely. We’re guessing that when Kessler made a video threatening a council member that probably didn’t bode well for him going into the vote.
Score one for sanity, justice and domestic tranquility. We hope FORMER Police Chief Kessler enjoys whatever new job he finds, hopefully far away from firearms, ammunition and video cameras.
