Ceres is gushing with WATER: Liquid spouting from 'planet's' surface could reveal how life began on Earth

Ceres (illustration pictured) is a perfectly round 'dwarf planet' and also the largest asteroid in the solar system. Scientists found that it is releasing water vapour from its surface at a rate of 6 kilograms per second Observations by the ESA's Herschel telescope suggest it could be coming from geysers or ice volcanoes. Ceres is the smallest of the bodies currently classified as a 'dwarf planet'.
