Police forked out £11million of taxpayers' money on new headquarters... never moved in and have now SOLD it (at a loss)

The unit at Alpha Park has been sold at a loss after Hampshire Constabulary spent £9.6million buying it in 2008 Hampshire Constabulary bought the industrial property near Eastleigh in 2008 for £9.6million. After spending another £1.8million on the property, the force decided to sell it as it would cost an added £13.75million.
