Police sergeant is sacked for stealing cash from street beggars in Birmingham

Accusations: A sergeant has been sacked by West Midlands Police after claims he stole small change from street beggars in Birmingham (pictured, the force's HQ)
A police investigation was launched in December 2011 following allegations cash had been stolen from beggars, believed to be Eastern Europeans, operating in Bordesley Green in Birmingham.
