Former Virginia governor Robert F. McDonnell was sentenced Tuesday to two years in federal prison. McDonnell and his wife, Maureen, were convicted in September of lending the prestige of the governor’s office to a Richmond area businessman in exchange for $177,000 in loans, vacations and luxury items. |
