Ex-Cop Who Killed Man In Movie Theater For Texting Was Also Texting! (Video)

Former police officer Curtis Reeves gunned down father of two Chad Oulson in a January dispute over texting, but does anyone want to guess what he was doing just before the fired the shot that killed Oulson? Go ahead--guess!
Oulson was texting his daughter's pre-school to let them know his phone was going to be off during the movie, was approached by the angry 71 year old former cop. Reeves became furious as he saw Oulson using his phone and initiated a number of arguments with him on the subject.
At one point, Reeves left the theater, presumably to complain to management. He came back without a manager and Oulson asked the angry man if he had gone to tell on him for his texting and reportedly explained, “If it was any of your f***ing business, I was texting my daughter. Stay the hell out of my face.”
During their argument, Oulson seems to have thrown his phone at Reeves. Furious, Reeves returned to his seat to fetch his Second Amendment Device before returning to the confrontation. Claiming, of course, that he felt "threatened," he used it to end the life of someone who was only trying to make his daughter and her school aware that he would be turning off his phone. The bullet also struck Oulson's wife, Nicole, in the finger as she tried to protect her husband.
Court documents released by Florida prosecutors on Thursday have revealed that Reeves' anger of texting is complete garbage. Just before he fired the fatal shot, Reeves was texting his son.
Curtis' son Matthew was supposed to meet his parents at the movie at 1:20, but was running late because he was washing his truck. He told detectives his father had texted him at 1:04 p.m. on January 13--just before the shooting.
Matthew Oulson had just walked into the darkened theater as his father fired the shot that killed Chad Oulson. Pasco County Sheriff's detective Aaron Smith wrote, "Matthew said he did not see the shot directly, but the noise and light drew his attention to the top row of seats."
As his father lounged in his seat, refusing to help the man he had just shot, Matthew tried to help his dad's victim by using a t-shirt in an effort to stop the bleeding.
The documents also reveal that Reeves harassed another person, 35 year old Jamira Dixon, in the same theater in December.
On Wednesday, Nicole Oulson spoke out for the first time. Watch below:
