Islamic State reported to burn Jordanian pilot to death

Islamic State militants have released a video showing the execution of a captive Jordanian pilot, according to reports circulating Tuesday.
The video shows the pilot being burned alive inside a cage, according to the SITE organization, which monitors militant websites.
There was no independent confirmation that the pilot, Lt. Moaz Kasasbeh, 26, was dead, but Jordanian state TV broadcast a news flash reporting that Kasasbeh had been martyred. Jordanian officials did not immediately comment.
Previous Islamic State videos have shown evidence that foreign captives, including at least three Americans, had been beheaded.
