Locals told Ma'an that an Israeli special forces unit raided Hebron early Friday, detained Mustafa Jihad al-Huwarin, 25, and took him to an unidentified location.
An Israeli army spokeswoman did not have any immediate information on al-Huwarin's detainment, but told Ma'an that four Palestinians had been detained overnight Thursday, three in Qalqilya and one southwest of Bethlehem, all for suspected involvement in terrorist activity.
Palestinian residents are often detained during routine night raids by Israeli forces. The total number of Palestinian prisoners detained by Israeli forces was 6,000 in February 2015, according to Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association.
