Swiss Parliament votes for LGBT legal protections
The
Swiss Parliament last week passed legislation aimed at protecting the
country's LGBT community from discrimination based on sexual orientation
or gender identity. The bill seeks to amend a nondiscrimination law
that protected citizens on the basis of race and religion. A
subcommittee in the parliament's lower house recently approved marriage
