An Arkansas police officer was fired and arrested after a he filed a false police report about an alleged shooting incident. Fifty-year-old Officer David Houser acknowledged he had “fabricated” a story about a suspect firing a shot that hit his bulletproof vest. “He’s obviously got some personal issues he’s dealing with,” the England Police Department’s chief said in a statement about the fake incident. “Obviously he needs some help to have fabricated a shooting incident and to shoot yourself and claim you were shot at by someone who doesn’t exist,” he added.
