In an another embarrassing event for the Secret Service, an agent’s gun, badge, radio, handcuffs, and flash drive were stolen Monday afternoon around 4 p.m.
near the White House, CNN reported. The items were taken from the
agent’s personal vehicle while it was parked in downtown Washington, and
a report filed with the Metropolitan Police Department described that
the agent noticed a back rear window of his car had been “unzipped.” The
report lists among the missing items a black Sig Sauer handgun, an
APX6000 radio, handcuffs, a USB flash drive, a black Patagonia bag, and a
Secret Service badge. |
