In December, Donald Trump had his business ambassadorship stripped by Scotland and one of Trump’s golf courses lost a prestigious golf tournament because of what a monumental jackass he is. Tomorrow, Trump is scheduled to appear in Scotland to unveil a new hotel and golf course at Turnberry in Ayrshire. Two of the golf courses’ neighbors, David Milne and Michael Forbes, are putting up Mexican flags, just so that the Donald will see them on his big day.

“It’s just to show solidarity with the Mexican people,” Milne said, “and everyone else that Trump has derided, insulted and intimidated.”
David Milne poses for a photograph beside the Mexican flag and The Saltire, the flag of scotland on the top of his house, located around 400 metres away from the Donald Trump's International Golf Links course, north of Aberdeen on the East coast of Scotland, on June 21, 2016..Milne, a long-term enemy of Donald Trump has raised the Mexican flag within clear sight of the White House hopeful's golf course in protest, ahead of the tycoon's visit to eastern Scotland on Saturday. / AFP / Michal Wachucik (Photo credit should read MICHAL WACHUCIK/AFP/Getty Images) attribution: AFP/Getty ImagesDavid Milne
Part of this protest is in connection with Donald Trump’s attempts to build an 82-foot-high flag pole without getting permission. It’s a classy flag pole, guys. It’s probably the best flag pole I’ve ever seen, and I would know, I’ve seen some flag poles and have worked with the best flag pole people.

Complete with “gold anodised ball” on its top, the flagpole now flies a huge saltire, which is nine metres higher than the clubhouse roof, and is very similar to the very large Scottish flag flying at Turnberry.

Forbes and Milne both own small and modest homes that were surrounded by Trump and his enormous golf course. Milne’s view of the sea was obliterated by Trump’s staff when they built walls and set trees to hide the homes from the golf course’s view.

“We want to draw the comparison between his claims that he’s going to build a wall next to Mexico and that fact that he did in fact put one around my property,” Milne said.

In unrelated news, Scotland is an ally to the United States.
