Transgender rights bill headed for a vote in Mass.
Lobbyists for the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition are mustering support from state lawmakers ahead of an expected vote this week to add gender identity to the state's non-discrimination laws. "The bill is not perfect, but this is a critical step," said State Rep. Carl M. Sciortino Jr., a Democrat who co-sponsored the measure.
