this course is to provide agency PREA Coordinators with an overview of
the basic role and responsibilities of their position. At the end of
this course, you’ll be able to: describe the general duties and
responsibilities of an agency- wide PREA Coordinator; explain the
policies, procedures, and practices needed to achieve PREA compliance;
create an action plan for your agency that includes steps needed to
achieve PREA compliance; and serve as the point-of-contact for
information concerning PREA standards and the agency’s efforts toward
