A glimpse into prehistoric life: Stunning 7,000-year-old hunting scenes discovered inside a Spanish cave
NEW
The paintings were discovered on a 19ft (6metre) wall in a small
cave in Vilafranca in Castellón, in eastern Spain. Archaeologists
discovered the ancient artwork, which includes drawings of two aurochs,
which were ancestors of modern cattle, two human archers and a goat. The
Spanish cave is not the only cave painting to show ancient man hunting
animals such as aurochs, and others in the country depict humans firing
arrows at clusters of deer.
