Documentarian and photographer Michael Galinsky shot the KKK rally in June 1987 when 40 members of the hate group descended on Chapel Hill, North Carolina, along with some 2,000 protesters.
Documentarian and photographer Michael Galinsky shot the KKK rally in June 1987 when 40 members of the hate group descended on Chapel Hill, North Carolina, along with some 2,000 protesters. Galinsky recent found a cache of the negatives from his old photos taken a day after his high school graduation and decided to release them as a reminder that intolerance has not been completely eradicated in the U.S.
