Iran: Four prisoners hanged in northwestern city


NCRI – The Iranian regime’s henchmen in a prison in the northwestern city of Orumiyeh hanged at least four inmates on Monday.
The executions were carried out despite protest by the members of families of the prisoners who had gathered outside the prison from Sunday. The angry protesters clashed with guards as they tried to enter the prison to prevent the execution of their loved ones.
The latest reports from Iran reveals that at least 81 prisoner have been hanged in Iran from 12 to 18th of April reached 81.
A group of twelve prisoners were hanged collectively in Mashhad on April 16. Other four were executed in Birjand on April 17.
Based on this figures on the average 12 prisoners have been hanged each day in a seven day period.
