What does the state of Israel think to achieve when refusing access to the representative of the highest ruling authority of the world, the United Nations, to the "coastal enclave", aka the Gaza Strip?

Surly not any positive outcome from the reports by the "point man on human rights situation in the occupied territories", and neither a positive reception by the world community at large!

All that the state of Israel, and its government, can expect is being condemned for its refusal to grant access to the human rights representative of the UN, and that the refusal to cooperate with the UN is noted, and mentioned in the reports and oncoming resolutions relevant to the reports!

All that will lead to a further isolation of the state of Israel, the Israeli People and the government of the state! And a further downsizing of supporting countries in support of the state of Israel!

And, much to the chagrin of the state of Israel, a deepening of disliking the attitude by the state of Israel, and an increase of support for the BDS movement all around the world, creating a situation for the people of the state of Israel that will exclude them from all kinds of events, meetings and gatherings, from official meetings, like diplomatic receptions to festivities, to sport events, from cultural events like dance events to European Song festival, etc. etc.

And ofcourse the government of the state of Israel will blame the  anti-Israel attitude, and even to a supposed anti-Semitic attitude around the world, and as one representative of the government already stated, a follow up on the Holocaust, the problem is that the state of Israel has created a situation were people are becoming more and more aware of the attitude by the state of Israel, it People and its government, an attitude of forcing people to take sides, to look at what is happening inside the occupied territories, like the Gaza Strip, but also the Westbank!

People in the 21st century are able to collect information, analyze the information, check the information, double check the information, and what they then see is a state in serious social and cultural decomposition, a very serious state of being actively busy to b break down the position of being a respected state, and a state were people were sympathetic to.........

The state of Israel has become a state in decay, were even the soldiers tell horrific stories about being ordered to kill children, to murder the mentally ill, were people with another then white skin color are openly discriminated against, were there is no religious freedom, were there is a structural denial of press freedom, were there is a continuous breakdown of civil rights, and were people are prevented to protest against what they regard as being wrong!

The state of Israel has become a country that has lost all respect for human rights, for human dignity, were people who are not of the Jewish faith are regarded as of a lower class (to put it mildly!), and were there is no democratic right existing anymore!

What the purpose is of the state of Israel to destroy itself is unknown, perhaps the whole idea of creating a Jewish state turned out to be a failure, perhaps the idea of the creation of a Zionist state was a failure from the start, at least we are witnessing the downfall of a state  that once claimed to be the only democratic state in the region, but has turned into almost the only racist, dictatorial and most despicable state in the region!
