ReplyDeleteIndeed, the book we know as the bible does not condemn homosexuality!
What the book we know as the bible does condemn is homosexual abuse… were people submit other people by and with force submit to homosexual acts!
Besides, according to the same book we all have been created to the image of god, , meaning that everyone, heterosexuals, homosexuals, bisexuals, transsexuals and what kind of other sexual identifications there are are ALL to the image of god!
This also is meaning that god is heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, transsexual and what other sexual identifications there are!
All the references that are supposed to be in the bible to homosexuality in a negative sense and meaning are related to wars, abuse, hate, and incitements to suffering! The bible was written by human beings, not by god, the Old Testament was written by human beings, not by god/
And we all know that human beings write down their own impressions, thoughts, ideas and interpretations of things, of happenings!
And then, who in 2013 was around when the bible was written in the 3d century? I mean, what we read now has been translated from languages now a days few can read, the Old Testament was copied down to the bible from languages we in 2013 are unable to read or even to decipher!
I almost would go as far as to say, or paraphrasing something that has been said a long time already… God Is Gay Also (aka GIGA)
(the statement that jesus was gay go’s around, an adult man living together with 12 other adult men, sleeping with them, kissing them, etc. etc.)
Just my thoughts, and opinion.
