Nazi Flag Seen Flying Above Palestinian Arab Town, Again

Nazi Flag Seen Flying Above Palestinian Arab Town, Again

A Nazi flag was seen raised by Arab residents of Beit Umar over a major road, between Halhoul and the Etzion Bloc, not far from Hebron in the West Bank, Israel National News reported Saturday.

Soldiers from the Israel Defense Forces Haruv battalion of the Kfir Regiment tried to take down the flag, but were unable to because of its height, INN said.

In May, Arab residents of the same town hoisted a Nazi flag over Highway 60.

The incident comes as Israel and the Palestinian Authority continue along the path of the current ongoing  U.S.-led peace talks.

In a recent speech, Prime Minister Netanyahu pointed to the historic Palestinian Arab support for the Nazis during the Holocaust.
