Pro-equality GOP congresswoman endorses Romney for president
Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Fla., regarded by many as one of the most pro-LGBT lawmakers in Washington, has announced her support for Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential race. Romney has vowed to support a constitutional amendment banning marriage for same-sex couples nationwide. The move prompted Stonewall Democrats interim Executive Director Jerame Davis to ask, "Which Mitt Romney did she endorse?" Washington Blade (11/30)
