National Register of Historic Places eyes LGBT sites
Officials with the National Register of Historic Places say sites connected to LGBT history will increasingly be represented on the register. The Washington, D.C., home of Dr. Frank Kameny was recently added, joining New York’s Stonewall Inn and surrounding area, which recently had its status elevated to that of National Historical Landmark.
