Stop standing on the toilet! Lloyds Bank issues instructions to its foreign staff on how to use British loos
A poster has gone up in the bank's Old Broad Street branch in
central London telling workers how to sit on the loo, to put used loo
roll down the toilet, and to flush it with their hand not their foot.
The high street bank is just the latest British business to accommodate
the different toilet habits of foreign workers - last week it emerged
that managers at a DHL distribution depot in Swindon had installed a
European-style 'hole in the ground' toilet after workers from eastern
Europe kept breaking the loo seat by standing on it.
