HRC President Chad Griffin spoke on Capitol Hill about The Equality
Act, which would guarantee explicit, permanent protections for LGBT
people in many of the most important aspects of their lives. Griffin
joined individuals who have been victims of discrimination and several
prominent members of Congress at a press conference to introduce The
