Get angrier, longtime LGBT activist advises
Larry Kramer -- author of the play “The Normal Heart” and an activist who was instrumental in early HIV/AIDS activism -- told Metro Weekly that today’s LGBT community isn’t angry enough to demand real equality. “When we get angry enough that we don't have what we deserve, when we get angry enough that the taxes we pay don't get us what they get everyone else, then maybe we'll do something about it,” Kramer said.
